Will rain or fog affect the wireless service?
3.4/3.5 GHz frequency band are extremely resilient to "rain fade" and other weather conditions. Alap has engineered the system to withstand environmental interference. Any frequencies below 9-10 Ghz are generally accepted as immune to weather conditions. We are operating in the 3.5 GHz/5.8 GHz bands and have not seen any adverse effects from weather.
Do you over-subscribe your network?
Simply stated - No! We are different. Our products include a CBR (Constant Bit) Rate, burstable rate and a CIR (committed) rate for bandwidth which is guaranteed available.
Antenna independent or not?
It is not Antenna independent. That's our answer to our customer. But the truth is, you can use 3rd party Antenna but performance will be degraded tremendously.
What level of necessary technical support and servicing facilities would we get from you? Service Desk of Alap Communication is intended to provide full support to ensure that clients are satisfied all written and verbal communication between Alap and client in connection with Service Desk issues shall be logged in the book and served as first come first serve basis. Alap will then just follow the agreed Reporting Procedure when a fault occurs.
What if we encounter a serious problem after working hours?
Alap's commitment to customer service and support does not stop at the end of a business day. Customers requiring immediate Technical Support after standard business hours can access on-call technicians 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Customers with critical technical issues can have access to the First Level Technical Support Engineer who will provide necessary supports.
What supportive measures does Alap Communication offer that makes it unique?
Phone Support: upon receiving phone call Engineer will do the general trouble shooting to resolve the issue
On Site Visit: when the issue cannot be resolved through a telephonic conversation on call support Engineer will visit the site within the next 12 hours.
Escalation Team: our Escalation Team will visit the site in the same day if the problem still exists and provide guaranteed solution with help of the Manager of the Technical Support Services team in order to bring the issue/problem to resolution.
What type of Warranty does Alap offer for its products?
One Year Hardware Warranty: our standard warranty is 1 year all hardware products. Alap warrants that hardware product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year following the date of shipment to the original purchaser, unless a different warranty statement in customer-specific Extended Warranty agreements signed by Alap.
Extended Warranty: in addition to the standard hardware warranty extended warranty contracts can be negotiated for certain products. For information on extended warranty services please contact our service department.
Repair Turn-time: our standard average turnaround time is 24 hours depending on customer Support Package as well as additional factors. Alap will repair or replace defective hardware during the warranty period of the product.
What level of service does Alap offer for maintaining equipments?
24x7 Support available for customers who will have a dedicated Alap Support Representative available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Periodical maintenance visit by our support team at customer location. |
